Subject: Assignment as Environment Management System Responsible (EMS)

 

Mr.  Abdul Alim

The Management of SG has decided to appoint you as environment management responsible for the company. You must carry out the following issues as per all of our buyers & legal requirements.

 

Waste Management Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review EMS plan, policy and procedures complying with buyers/government standard.
  • Being as a responsible for performance evaluator of EMS team members and please ensure it by annual basis.
  • Daily floor visit and monitoring and take action to improve the findings.
  • Lead, coordinate and support required activities regarding environmental audits (external/internal) and ensure proper documentation.
  • Monitor and supervise implementation of necessary policies and procedures regarding EMS, EHS, SDS, CMS and other compliance issue.
  • Conduct factory assessment in the view of Higg. Index (FEM), MRSL, RSL, MSDS, TDS, ZDHC and act to reduce/ remove non conformity.
  • Ensure efficient operation and management of ETP as per guideline of DoE/ buyers.
  • Identify workplace risk & hazard that will require to procedure CAP and ensure safe/standard working procedures and operation.
  • Implement and maintain company safety rules, regulations, SOPs including periodic testing of air quality, noise, temperature, humidity, water & energy consumption, sludge, wastewater etc.
  • Arrange and conduct necessary training/ orientation on EMS, CMS, ETP, WMS, etc.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all activities associates with EMS complying with different.
  •  Standards, buyer’s guideline, local and international laws, company policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate Effluent treatment process including water test from internal and external lab.
  • Necessary communication with department of environment to get renewal environmental Clarence certificate.
  • Time to time all complete for ETP water test from department of environment.
  • Arrange and conduct necessary training/ orientation on EMS, CMS, WMS, and Hazardous Sludge etc.
  • To review all EMS Committee personnel JD.
